Our goal is to treat severe chronic diseases with targeted electrical impulses – when medication is no longer sufficient or fails. To achieve this, we have developed a neurostimulator platform with a thin-film multichannel electrode for selective, smart stimulation of the vagus nerve.

Who we are
neuroloop GmbH is a pre-market healthcare spin-off company from the University of Freiburg and the University Medical Center Freiburg with investment of Aesculap AG, the surgical division of the B. Braun Group. neuroloop was founded in 2015 and received since then several funding rounds from our only investor, Aesculap AG.
Since 2021 neuroloop is part of a joint development project with the Bioelectronics Business Unit of Merck KGaA. neuroloop is open to investors and participation by third parties.
